Subaru announced the all-new 2024 Impreza, displaying its new styling, technology, performance, and safety features. This 6th generation Impreza features a sportier 5-door hatchback design and updated multimedia technology. The Impreza debuted in 1992 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, offering customers a value-packed compact car with available Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The Impreza was the only vehicle at the time to offer all-wheel drive in the compact car segment. The Impreza also laid the foundation for the legendary Subaru WRX, the performance car with rally championships spanning four decades. How Does the SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia Plus System Work?
For the first time, the SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system is available for Impreza. The 11.6-inch high-resolution touchscreen is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a full-screen display. The multimedia system is a central information display with combination meter integration and on-screen controls for audio, climate, and vehicle functions. The Sport and RS trim levels add the STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, and fog lights. Additional Impreza features include Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming connectivity, a rear vision camera, and over-the-air updates. In addition, drivers will receive a complimentary 4-month free Platinum Plan to SiriusXM All-Access Radio and SiriusXM Travel Link.
Standard Award-Winning EyeSight Driver Assist Technology
Throughout its 30-year history, Impreza has received safety awards from trusted organizations, including the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Subaru's latest version of the award-winning EyeSight Driver Assist Technology comes standard across the 2024 Impreza lineup. This enhanced system operates smoother, faster, and under a greater range of conditions. In addition, Subaru has improved this system with a broader field of vision, updated control software, and the addition of an electric brake booster. As a result, eyeSight can now identify bicycles and pedestrians at intersections sooner and, when necessary, alerts the driver and applies brakes to avoid collisions.
SUBARU STARLINK Safety and Security
The SUBARU STARLINK Safety and Security Connected Services offer SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Maintenance Notifications, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and Diagnostic Alerts, Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service, and Vehicle Security Alarm Notification. Some of the available convenience features on the 2024 Subaru Impreza include Remote Lock/Unlock, Remote horns and Lights, and Remote Vehicle Locator. New services for Impreza include Valet Mode, Trip Log and Driving Journal, and Remote Vehicle Configuration. A Harman Kardon 10-speaker system, Power Moonroof, and 10-way power front driver seat with lumbar support are available exclusively on the RS.
