2014 Subaru Crosstrek Takes on 21,000+ Mile Rally
Subaru has always been known for their symmetrical all-wheel-drive, and their ability to manufacture one of the worlds most versatile multipurpose vehicles. To take it a step further they really wanted to show how reliable the Crosstrek is by pushing it to trek over 21,000 consecutive miles in a single trip. Obviously stopping for gas, Subaru is trying to prove something, not produce miracles.
An all-Canadian team will make the long drive together, driving from London to Mongolia. A trip that nobody likely never have taken in a vehicle in any normal situation, and few likely have ever made in general. Note: The Subaru can not float on water, so it will likely cross the channel to continue its long trip East. The trip will be part of the Mongolia Charity Rally, and the only modification made to the vehicle is a hood protector and sump guard. The greatest thing about all of this, is that the participants are doing it solely for charity purposes.
